Single Cruises

When it comes to choosing a holiday for people travelling alone, cruising is the perfect match. Cruising solo has grown in popularity over recent years as more cruise lines cater for the single passenger due to significant rise in demand.

Why? Because a cruise holiday offers the same facilities and space of a land based holiday; with the added benefit of discovering and exploring new places in a safe environment. It also gives you the opportunity to mix and mingle with other guests who share your interests as there are lots of organized activities and social events to keep you busy night and day. Or, if you are simply looking to get away from it all and enjoy your own company, there are usually plenty of quiet spaces where you’ll find peace and tranquillity.

Single Supplements: Cruise lines including Cunard, Fred. Olsen, NCL, and Holland America Line all offer single cabins with no supplement. Others such as Royal Caribbean, Seabourn, Regent and P&O Cruises offer single cabins at a supplement of under 50%. Holland America Line and Fred Olsen offer you the opportunity to buddy-up with another single passenger of the same sex, enabling you to avoid supplements and save money on your cabin.
