(Cuvee means vat or tank in French wine-speak.)The lower section is reached by a sweeping staircase and the tables above look out over the sides to the main area below. Daytime entertainment is wide and varied, and listed under the "Celebrity Life" activities section of the Daily Program. Seydisfjordur, Iceland
The settlement of Seydisfjordur began to develop into a trading centre in 1848 when townspeople found their wealth in -the silver of the sea- - herring. The long protective fjord gave the fisherman in Seydisfjordur an advantage over their neighbours, leading it to grow into one of the most prosperous towns in East Iceland. The unique, multi-coloured wooden buildings that make Seydisfjordur so recognisable were built in this period by Norwegian merchants and whalers. The ruins of their whaling operation at Vestdalseyri can still be visited along the Seydisfjordur coast.
Djupivogur, Iceland
This small town, situated at the mouth of Berufjrur fjord, on the south coast, dates back to the 16th century when the Danes established a trading post there.In fact, a store from the olden days, Langab, can still be found in the town and many of the oldest houses (1788-1818) have been restored to their original glory. The scenic beauty of the surrounding area makes Djpivogur a popular tourist spot and boat trips to the island of Papey are one of its highlights.Djpivogur is also home to one of Icelands more offbeat attractions: the Eggs of Merry Bay (Eggin Gleivk), 34 granite eggs representing various local bird species. Each oversized egg, created by local artist Sigurur Gumundsson, is atop its own pedestal along in the towns harbour.

Akureyri is the little big city of Iceland. It is large enough to offer a rich selection of entertainment, art and culture, yet small enough to be very personal and close to nature. It-s easy to be fascinated by Akureyri with it-s with brightly painted wooden houses, cosy bars and steep streets leading down from the hills into the friendly city centre. Even the traffic lights are cute, with stop lights in the shape of red hearts.With a population of only 19,000, its remarkably calm in comparison to Reykjavik.You can easily explore all the major spots in town on foot. Here you-ll find a wide range of activities and interesting places e.g. notable museums, the worlds most northerly botanic garden, one of Icelands most popular swimming facilities, 18-hole golf course, the best skiing area in the country and great hiking trails. Best of all, use of the city buses is completely free of charge. Akureyri is also a great base camp for many of Icelands most beautiful natural wonders, such as waterfalls, volcanic areas and canyons, as well as numerous exciting activities, such as rafting, hiking, caving, whale watching and horseback riding.
Isafjordur, Iceland
safjrur is a town in the Westfjords region of northwest Iceland. It's known for its dramatic landscapes. The old town has wooden houses with corrugated tin roofs built by fishing merchants in the 18th and 19th centuries. The Westfjords Heritage Museum has exhibits on the towns maritime history, including a collection of old fishing boats. The old hospital, now a cultural center, contains archives and photography.
