In Los Angeles you will be spoilt for choice. Spend some time on Venice Beach made famous by the Baywatch TV series and the setting for many films, featuring roller skaters and lifeguard huts. Take your breath away and feel your pulse rising on the Capilano Suspension Bridge and even take a daytrip up to Whistler for pristine mountain views.

Transfer to the station to join the Rocky Mountaineer train from Vancouver to Kamloops. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hells Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Transfer to hotel in Kamloops for overnight stay.

Transfer to station where your journey continues eastwards to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, Rogers Pass, the Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies.
