The 91,000 tonne Celebrity Millennium was launched in June 2000 and was the first ship of the four ship Millennium class fleet to feature whisper quiet gas turbine engines. All Celebrity Millennium staterooms have private en-suite facilities, air conditioning, flat-screen cable TV's with free in-room movies, vanity area, hair dryer, telephone, refrigerator with mini bar and free room service. Suite guests can now relax and take refreshments in the modernised Retreat Lounge.

The Ocean Cafe & Grill offers self-service buffet style dining; other free dining options include the Pool Grille, Qisine with its iPad menus, The Aqua Spa cafe, the Bistro-On-5 Creperie and Cafe Al Bacio. The main dining room has received a modern face lift with a cool cream, white and chrome colour palette
In addition to the main theatre there are two entertainment lounges, a demonstration kitchen and a cinema. The main pool area features two whirlpools and there is an adult's only solarium pool with a further two whirlpools. Singapore is situated at the end of the Malaysian peninsula and is a tropical paradise often referred to as the -Island with a thousand shopping malls-. This tiny island nation packs in more malls per square mile than any other country in the world. Visit the 2.2km stretch of Orchard Road - the Oxford Street of Singapore, Chinatown, Little India and the vast Bugis Street Market. Enjoy a tour of Chinatown, have afternoon tea in the famous Raffles Hotel or take a cable car ride to Sentosa Island for some panoramic views. Gardens by the Bay is a nature park with futuristic looking tree sculptures covering 101 hectares of land, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. You will find two waterfront conservatories: the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest- and the Supertree Grove with 18 manmade trees which reach heights of up to 16 storeys. The Supertrees can be found all around the Gardens by the Bay - twelve are at the Supertree Grove, while the remaining six are placed in clusters of threes at the Golden and Silver Gardens. The best time to visit Gardens by the Bay is in the late afternoon, around 4-5pm. Start with the cooled conservatories, and then go up to the OCBC Skyway in the evening when the weather is cooler. At the Supertree Grove, there is a nightly show (free admission), that showcases the magical lights of the super trees to music. You can also visit the Sky Park observation deck 57 floors on top of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. This striking hotel has an infinity pool and gardens which spans the roof over the three towers of the hotel.
